Check out the description below or our TMA-2 configurator, which also describes how you would experience each earpad and speaker unit.
We have 2 types of ear pads - on-ear and over-ear. These types are available in different materials.
Starting with our over-ear ear pads…
E08 is our most premium ear pad. They are a large, comfortable over-ear ear pad lined with soft Alcantara®.
Alcantara® offers a sublime softness and open listening experience coupled with a better resistance to heat over long listening sessions.
The E08 ear pad have quite low isolation, so aren’t the best for listening in noisy environments - but in turn the sound staging and openness can rival an open-backed headphone. They’ve been designed for extended listening sessions, and we use them in our flagship TMA-2 Studio range. Combined with S05, they offer our most detailed, open and natural sound, perfect for music production as well as general listening.
E04 is an alternative large ear pad, lined with durable PU leather. These offer a high level of isolation, making them perfect for listening to music on the go.
The less open material makes these ear pads amplify the bass - making these ideal for someone who enjoys a bit more bass power.
Next up is our on-ear ear pads…
E02 is our DJ ear pad. It is made with Japanese, extra thick PU (vegan) leather. It offers the highest isolation of all of our ear pads, ideal for performing in loud venues.
This smaller, durable ear pad also amplifies the bass a lot - combined with our S02 speaker units, the result is a very bass heavy sound, which many people find useful when playing in clubs. Combined with our more flat S01 speaker unit, the sound is more balanced.
E10 is a great on the go ear pad, made from a material called Repreve, which is manufactured using recycled plastic bottles. REPREVE® is also water-resistant and stain-resistant so it dries quickly and cleans easily.
It’s breathable, quite open and gives a balanced sound profile - a popular choice for people exercising with headphones or just listening while on the move.
