Below you'll find the most common troubleshooting relating to the H10 Headband.

I have connectivity issues with my H10, what can i do?

We most often find that this kind of issue relates do wongful assembly, and therefore first and firemost always suggest you start out by making sure your headphones are assembled correctly. You can find the general assembly guide for all TMA-2 headphones in our solution article: How to assemble your TMA-2 Headphones.

If your assembly is correct, and your connectivity issues only are present when using your headphones wirelessly, you should make sure the firmware on your H10 is up to date. You can find out how to do this in our solution article: How to firmware-update the H10 Headband

I hear a clipping sound on my TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, what can I do?

The X01 transmitter can handle a maximum input of 3.5V(peak). Exceeding this limit will cause the signal to distort and result in clipping.

If you're experiencing a clipping sound on your TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Connect the X01 transmitter to your output using the neon cable
  2. Increase the volume on your device until you notice distortion or clipping.
  3. Gradually lower the volume until the distortion is gone.

Adjust the volume on the H10 headband until the audio reaches your desired level.

For some use cases where higher volume is required, we advise you to connect using the cable. The headphones will go as loud as your current TMA-2's connected in this way.

I hear a hissing sound on my TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, what can I do?

To reduce or eliminate the hissing sound on your TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, connect the H10-X01, then follow these steps:

  1. Connect the X01 transmitter to your output using the neon cable
  2. Turn the volume down on your H10 headband until the hissing noise is acceptable or gone
  3. Turn the volume up on your device to your desired level

Adjust the volume on the H10 headband to find the balance between hissing noise and the desired volume level.
