I hear a clipping sound on my TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, what can I do?

If you're experiencing a clipping sound on your TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

The X01 transmitter can handle a maximum input of 3.5V(peak). Exceeding this limit will cause the signal to distort and result in clipping.

To set up your device and avoid distortion:

  1. Connect the X01 transmitter to your device’s headphone output using the neon cable.
  2. Increase the volume on your device until you notice distortion or clipping.
  3. Gradually lower the volume until the distortion is gone.
  4. Adjust the volume on the H10 headband until the audio reaches your desired level.

For some use cases where higher volume is required, we advise you to connect using the cable. The headphones will go as loud as your current TMA-2's connected in this way.
